This is a story that I first started writing way back in high school. It collected dust in my desk drawer for nearly twenty years and, in some sort of "Ah, what the heck" kind of inspiration, I unearthed it and set out to rewrite it and bring it to the world. What began as a lark has turned into an incredible journey. I've met a lot of new people behind the scenes, as well as learned a lot about myself and about my writing in the process.
