So, what happens when you give me some video editing equipment, about an hour of free time, a few good reviews, and the desire to pimp my debut novel The Strange Man? Why, you get this fun, little video!
Special thanks, as always, to Dan Schulte for the music, and extra thanks to the reviewers who had such nice things to say about my little book about monsters :)
In related news, filming began this morning for the feature trailer for Book Two of The Coming Evil Trilogy--Enemies of the Cross! The publisher will want to debut that trailer early next year, but I'm hoping to cut a very small "teaser" for your viewing pleasure. Stay tuned!

New Interviews
The Strange Man is in stores! Have you bought your copy?
I'm having a blast promoting the book and have had some great opportunities to do interviews and talk about my inspirations, my thoughts on writing and the Christian publishing industry, and whatever else comes to the mind of my interviewers. Here are the three most recent.
Special thanks to Jeff, Alice, and Dona for giving me the chance to talk up the book!
Interview at The Writing Life For Me.
Interview with Jeff Gerke at Where The Map Ends.
BRAND-NEW Interview at Fantasy and Faith.

Watch the Brand New "Dras" Teaser
Hey, everybody. I couldn't let the Halloween season pass without throwing some goodies your way. Here's a "teaser" trailer for "The Strange Man", featuring Dras Weldon (as played by Jeff Mitchell) confessing his secret fears in a scene from the book. A "full length" trailer is in the wings, but won't be making its debut until, probably, January. Until then, enjoy this small sampling of the horrors that await you...
Happy Halloween!

A Trilogy of Interviews!
You know those times when you're just sitting around one day and you realize that you completely forgot something you meant to do many years ago? Well, that just happened to me this morning.
While watching the still-entertaining 1987 Star Wars knock-off "Masters of the Universe" it suddenly dawned on me that back in 2007--when I released the original self-published version of "The Coming Evil"--I did three "in depth" looks at the book with Nikki Leigh.
The first interview concerned the setting of the book, the second dealt with the hero, and the third focused on the villain. I got to looking through my old posts on my blog and realized I had never linked to those! Don't ask me why. That was years ago and I've slept since then.
At any rate, in honor of the book getting picked up by Realms and getting the "Expanded Edition" treatment I thought I'd dust off those three interviews and post them for your reading. Keep in mind, the cover that is shown reflects the Xulon Edition and not the upcoming Realms Edition (thankfully). Also, the Amazon link that's shown directs you to the Xulon Edition--now out of print and in limited stock. But, if I were you, I'd wait until January 4, 2011 and buy the brand, spanking new version :)
Thanks to Nikki Leigh for giving me the opportunity to talk up the book and apologies that it only took me three years to get around to posting it. D'oh!
Now that that's done, I'm going back to watching He-Man. Enjoy your Saturday morning!
